A high number of decision-makers, political representatives and an outstanding programme of supporting events – that is how to best summarise Wasser Berlin International 2015, the only platform in Germany that reflects the entire economic cycle of the water industry.
Wasser Berlin International – the International Trade Fair and Congress for Water and Wastewater – has enhanced its trade fair concept, thus creating added value for exhibitors and trade visitors. From 24 to 27 March 2015 Wasser Berlin International will be organised in an even more structured format.
From 23 to 26 April 2013, at the forthcoming edition of Wasser Berlin International, the focus will be on the countries of the Middle East. This is the first time the countries of the Arab world will be hosting a combined display at a European water industry trade fair.
Trade fair Wasser Berlin International from 23 to 26 April 2013 – around 600 exhibitors from nearly every branch of the water industry will be showcasing their products, services and solutions – some 30,000 trade visitors are expected to attend, of whom one third are from abroad.
German Water Partnership, as a partner of Wasser Berlin International (WBI), will carry out and contribute to a variety of activities and events within the framework of the trade fair, the international congresses and the fora on water and waste water; in addition to its joint booth where it presents the German water expertise.
International attendance at the congress Wasser Berlin International 2013 will be higher than ever before. Taking place on 24 and 25 April 2013, its slogan is “The innovative concepts, measures and technologies of a forward-looking water industry“.
Unlike for us, water does not come from a tap in many countries, where this life-giving resource is scarce. Around the world 650 million people have no access to clean drinking water. In order to let schoolchildren and other interested visitors find out about every aspect of this important resource, at Wasser Berlin International 2017 Messe Berlin is organising the 13th edition of WASsERLEBEN, an interactive exhibition.
For the second time in the run-up to Wasser Berlin International Messe Berlin and Berliner Wasserbetriebe extended an invitation to Ambassadors’ Day. 11 ambassadors and numerous high-ranking diplomats from around the world took the opportunity to gain an insight into ’water expertise’ in Berlin and to gather for an informal meeting afterwards.
For the first time, along with Berliner Wasserbetriebe, the project team of Wasser Berlin International extended an invitation to attend the Ambassadors’ Day on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds and to visit the water treatment plant in Ruhleben and the International Club Berlin on 16 September 2014.
The management changeover also involved Wasser Berlin International, a trade fair for capital goods, coming under the supervision of the MS (Mobility & Services) Competence Center, with Matthias Steckmann as its director.
